Launching in early June 2025, the BlueGrip J series presents a revolutionary fusion of two leading rubber technologies. Developed with the expertise of DONIC’s new partner, Zhang Jike, this innovative series combines the best qualities of the Bluestar A and BlueGrip C lines. The top sheet features the high-performance compound from the BlueStar A series, while the sponge structure and pimple design are inspired by the BlueGrip C. The result is a rubber that delivers exceptional speed, remarkable spin capabilities, and powerful performance, all while maintaining superb touch and control.

The BlueGrip J series comes in three versions tailored to different playing styles:

• J-1: The hardest option (55°), engineered for maximum speed and power

• J-2: Medium hardness (52.5°), offering a balanced blend of speed, spin, and control

• J-3: The softest version (50°), designed for enhanced touch and feel, ideal for spin-focused players

Chinese table tennis icon Zhang Jike was deeply involved in the development, investing extensive time perfecting every detail. The final product is a seamless combination of the strongest features from two successful series, aptly named “J” in tribute to Zhang Jike’s significant contribution.
