Spinlord Gigant II takes the topsheet of Gigant and places it on the normal sponge of Marder. The topsheet is very hard. The surface of the rubber is not sanded like classical antis and not treated like frictionless antis, it is glossy (slightly shiny) like normal inverted rubbers and even has a little bit of grip, although not very much due to the special rubber compound. The original sponge of Gigant had a strong dampening effect but the sponge of Gigant II, while still slow, offers more speed in comparison. This allows Gigant II to have great control for a large variety of strokes.
