DHS Hurricane Long 5H

The Hurricane Long 5H, released by DHS in 2025, is a next-generation inner-fiber blade built for modern power loopers. It integrates cutting-edge fiber innovation with refined craftsmanship to deliver outstanding speed, precision, and stability. Its 5+2H inner-fiber structure is centered around DHS’s newly developed H Ultra-Dense Fiber, which increases weave density by 30% compared to conventional arylate-carbon. This results in greater rigidity while preserving a balanced resilience between ZL fiber and AL fiber.

The core is constructed from straight-grain Ayous, made 0.1 mm thicker than in the Hurricane Long 5, providing additional power reserves. Designed for explosive offense, the Long 5H can propel the ball to speeds of up to 28.5 m/s with medium-strength strokes. The thickened core generates deep, penetrating shots, while in the short game, the blade delivers a crisp, springy feel reminiscent of premium all-wood constructions—ideal for precise pushes, flicks, and delicate touch play.

On the backhand, the Long 5H excels in rapid rebound and acceleration, enabling lightning-fast counters with pinpoint accuracy. From mid to long distance, it maintains exceptional consistency, sustaining its power with minimal loss over extended rallies.
