Chinese superstar Zhang Jike recommends this newly developed blade to all ambitious offensive players who value greater ball control. Drawing on his extensive experience—including running his own table tennis school in China—he understands that ultra-fast blades aren’t always the optimal choice for every style of play. This understanding inspired the creation of the Donic Zhang Jike New Era. Like its predecessor, it features a kiri wood core and two layers of ayous, but introduces a key innovation: three finely woven synthetic fibre layers instead of the usual two.
