The Nittaku Nordlinger DY is a 5+2 offensive blade with the composite material placed inside (around the core ply).
The Nittaku Nordlinger DY is a 5+2 offensive blade with the composite material placed inside (around the core ply).
The stiff feeling of the Nordlinger DY is due to the hard outer plies, which are made of Wenge wood, rather than to the synthetic fiber.
Despite the a stiff feeling, the blade hardly produces any vibration and due to that stiffness of the blade, it does not "throw" the ball unexpectedly and makes it easy to execute precise blocks, chops, and short game.
Made in GERMANY.
"Nordlinger" - is a combination of German craftsmanship and quality standart with Japanese technology and design. Another series of Nittaku blades that are produced in Germany.
The older "S" and "Meister' series, including the popular S-KC and best-selling Basaltec blades, are now supplemented by the harder Nordlinger DY and softer Nordlinger AC.
