Ping Pong Rubbers

All ping pong rackets have special padding that is called a ping pong rubber. Usually, this rubber has two layers – foam/sponge underneath and an actual rubber pad on the playing surface.   • antispin – another defensive rubber with a low speed

Another important factor to consider is the thickness and density of the sponge layer. The thinner the sponge, the more control the player has; the lower the density, the higher the spin rate at lower speeds.
