Description
Cybershape introduces a revolutionary blade design, featuring a distinct shape and an expanded hitting area. This table tennis blade breaks away from convention with an optimized hitting region, supported by studies indicating that, for most players, the top half of the blade is the optimal contact area. The hitting area has been meticulously enhanced, boasting an 11% increase for the shakehand grip and a 9% increase for the penhold grip compared to traditional blades.

Notably, Cybershape positions the hitting area as much as 6.5 cm closer to the table during returns, a significant improvement compared to the 2.5 cm offered by round blades. Given that professional players predominantly execute strokes on the top half of the racket, Cybershape excels in this crucial region. The expanded hitting area results in an improved sweet spot, enhancing the player's control over short serves and returns.

Cybershape, a 5+2-ply blade based on Close Core Fibre (CCF) technology, features a carbon layer directly atop the wood core. This configuration translates into increased control and speed in gameplay. The blade's lightweight and advanced German-made carbon fiber composite counterbalances its larger surface area, ensuring it remains comparable in weight to regular blades.

The unique shape of Cybershape facilitates better visibility of the hitting area during serving, offering the player six corners to choose from based on the desired type and amount of spin. Collaborating with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, vibration tests revealed that Cybershape boasts a larger sweet spot located farther out on the blade compared to a traditionally shaped blade. The frequency response is more linear, leading to a distinctive feel during play compared to conventional blades.
