Named after Brazilian national team member and Xiom-sponsored athlete Hugo Calderano, the Hugo HAL is a subtly updated version of the Hugo SAL. The main change is the addition of the Hyper Axilium layer, which is claimed to alter bounce and playing feel. In our experience, however, the difference was barely noticeable.
